I have a few that have been an influence on my work. David Downton, Edith Head, and Robert Best are some of my favourites.

Thank you! I tend to start with a “look” that I have in mind. It varies but usually I have a particular silhouette in mind and go from there. If it is just a ‘glamour’ illustration, I start with the face.
